Public Law Mediation

Public law mediation is when a dispute arises between private parties (individuals, businesses, unions, associations etc.) and public bodies (the State, local authorities, public institutions) or between different public bodies. The role of the mediator is to help start a dialogue between the disputants taking into account the specificities and constraints of public law.

Mediation can be used before or after litigation.

The mediator shall be chosen by the parties by common agreement. It may also be designated by the administrative court but always with the parties’ agreement.

My area of expertise as a public law mediator is :

  • Building and Construction,

  • Public Procurement and Contracts,

  • Workplace Mediation in public organizations,
